About the Role

The Assembly Workers in our production team report to the Factory Manager and are part of the new home frame assembly manufacturing team. The key focus of this role is to safely assemble steel wall frames, roof trusses, and joists according to drafting plans.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble using power hand tools safely to a high quality and standard.
  • Read and understand basic drawings and framing plans.
  • Manual handling, including 2-person lifts and general stacking.
  • Work collaboratively with a team, ensuring seamless coordination and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

About You

  • Excellent work ethic, honest, reliable, and punctual.
  • Experience in the use of hand and power tools - training is provided.
  • A general understanding of assembly work.
  • Comfortable with high volume, repetitive work.
  • A current driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays) - 38 hours a week.
