About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team at x15ventures, a venture-scaler powered by Commonwealth Bank. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering world-class software solutions that enable our ventures to operate safely at speed within a regulated environment.

You will be responsible for building software, providing technical tooling and advice, and collaborating with a wide range of roles across the ventures. Additionally, you will contribute to establishing and evolving technology policies and procedures that ensure operational safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy high-quality software-defined infrastructure solutions with comprehensive test coverage
  • Consume a build and deployment pipeline encompassing full-stack application & Azure infrastructure deployments
  • Assist with providing accurate estimates for the development effort for new features
  • Be part of designing and implementing technical solutions for functional and non-functional requirements
  • Analyse venture objectives and identify functional and non-functional requirements
  • Provide technical assistance to other members of the team
  • Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within the venture
  • Establish and refine technology policies and procedures to ensure operational safety
Requirements
  • 2+ years of programming and software development experience. Experience and comfort in Typescript and Node.
  • Proven experience building modern front-end experiences using modern web technologies such as React, Tailwind CSS, Vue, Svelte, JS etc. We use React/Remix JS.
  • Experience integrating and developing queries for SQL databases such as Postgres
  • Knowledge of testing libraries
  • Experience in designing UX + UI is preferred
  • A good knowledge of web security and its application experience implementing practices in web applications.
