About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team at Commonwealth Bank. As a key member of our Engineering Platform team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure the quality of our software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using various programming languages and frameworks.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain test data and environments to support testing activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other teams.
Requirements
  • Strong software development experience in languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Specflow, or Cucumber.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps tools.
