Job Title: Gazette Publishing Officer

The role of the Gazette Publishing Officer is to work in a small team, supporting and coordinating the compilation of notices for publication in Gazettes. The position requires flexibility to assist with urgent publications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the production of the Queensland Government Gazette.
  • Assisting with compiling notices to be published and ensuring timely delivery of all preparation and production aspects.
  • Performing bookkeeping tasks such as preparing quotations, invoicing, and record keeping.
  • Publishing Gazettes on a weekly basis using Microsoft Office and Adobe FrameMaker, with training provided for publishing Extraordinary Gazettes under irregular circumstances.
  • Providing business support to the Communication and Engagement Branch as required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe FrameMaker.
