As a casual academic in this school, you will engage in a variety of teaching and assessment activities, offering flexibility and the opportunity to share your expertise in a supportive academic environment. Your role will involve:

  • Delivering high-quality tutoring and teaching sessions to students across various Science, Technology and Engineering disciplines.
  • Developing and updating course materials in line with industry standards.
  • Assessing and marking student assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
  • Facilitating interactive learning experiences and moderating discussions.
  • Providing constructive feedback and support to students.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
  • Engaging with students to enhance their learning experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification in a Science, Technology and Engineering-related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
  • Experience in teaching, tutoring, or academic assessment at a tertiary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students.
  • Ability to assess and provide constructive feedback on student work.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current in the Science, Technology and Engineering field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
