Job Description:

We're looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our retail team as a sales assistant.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating authentic customer experiences in-store by understanding individual needs and offering tailored style advice.

They will also act as a proud brand ambassador, styling customers to help them look and feel their best while supporting store sales and key performance indicators.

In addition, they will assist in store events such as morning teas and charity initiatives, and support daily store operations including visual merchandising, cleaning, administrative tasks, and maintaining the store and stockroom organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create genuine customer connections through understanding individual needs and offering bespoke style advice
  • Represent the brand with pride and enthusiasm, promoting the company's values and standards
  • Develop and implement visually appealing store displays and window displays that showcase products effectively
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators through effective communication and collaboration with colleagues
  • Assist with store events, promotions, and initiatives to drive sales and engagement
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven passion for fashion and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in Point of Sale systems, EFTPOS, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Adaptive selling skills, tailoring approach to suit each unique customer
