Occupational Therapist Team Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a leadership role within our team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a team of Occupational Therapists in the delivery of clinical services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA;
  • At least 3 years of experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity;
  • A strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, including assessment, treatment planning, and service delivery;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders;
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines;
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities;
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Occupational Therapists in the delivery of clinical services;
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to perform their roles effectively;
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with relevant regulations and standards;
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and plans;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
