Job Description

This is a senior-level position that reports directly to the Head of Risk & Compliance Australia and Asia.

The job involves collaborating with various teams to establish robust compliance frameworks and ensure that any business changes or projects consider and implement suitable compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a comprehensive regulatory compliance strategy and framework for GGB AU.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and trends applicable to Australian broking and underwriting operations.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure organizational compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Design and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and related internal/external compliance training programs.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably with insurance or financial services industry experience.
  • Knowledge of privacy laws in Australia.
  • Extensive experience with Financial Service Licensing requirements in Australia.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance principles.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
