Distributed Systems Consensus Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our core consensus team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing algorithms and implementing improvements to achieve better security and performance of go-opera.

This is a full-time remote role with flexible working hours and vacation time. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing advanced algorithms
  • Working closely with the core consensus team for research, feedback, implementation, and testing
  • Writing test cases and performing thorough testing on validator and read-only nodes on both testnet and mainnet

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of Golang
  • Familiarity with aBFT, BFT, and PoS concepts
  • Prior experience in Geth and EVM
  • Other relevant experience in networking, distributed systems, graph theory, etc.
