We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a key member of our digital experience team, you will be responsible for driving and progressing our digital experiences across our insurance brand customer applications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the communication of design recommendations across product delivery teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with stakeholders.
- Contribute to prioritization of design tasks and rituals across the team, ensuring efficient and effective design solutions.
- Coach, mentor, and guide junior designers on best practice UX design, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Evaluate and evolve our design approach and methodologies, ensuring they remain aligned with industry best practices and customer needs.
- Report on business-as-usual (BAU) and project/initiative/task status, providing expert advice on resource needs and design solutions.
- Present design concepts and justify design solutions, influencing stakeholders with evidence-based customer solutions.
Our UX design team is the centre of excellence for UX within the Suncorp Group. We deliver initiatives across various platforms within the Insurance space, focusing on creating dynamic solutions for our business stakeholders while enhancing customer experiences.
Requirements- Preferably a tertiary qualification in design, computer science, or behavioural sciences.
- 5+ years' experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Self-organised with strong self-discipline, able to comprehend complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively.
- Strong knowledge of responsive web design, including native mobile and emerging mobile technologies.
- Ability to map out user experiences and features, progress to full-fidelity UI prototypes, and distil complex information for users.
- Understanding of online form design and usability, including best practice UI interaction for web and mobile.
- High proficiency in Figma design application, with experience in creating design system libraries and components.
- Understanding of accessibility requirements and conveying this vital aspect of design to wider stakeholders.
