Aviation Operations Leader

This role will lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional ramp operations across Brisbane's multi-terminal airport. Leadership will ensure smooth day-to-day operations where employees and customers feel valued, supported, and recognized.

Ramp Operations Management
  • Lead supervisory teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient ground handling services.
  • Drive continuous improvement across service quality, safety, and operational performance.
  • Act as primary contact for airline partners, maintaining strong relationships and service alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations across customer service and ramp functions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture free from bullying, discrimination, and harassment.
  • Achieve operational KPIs including on-time performance, baggage handling, customer satisfaction, and compliance.
  • Ensure safe working practices through proactive OH&S leadership and risk management.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience in aviation or a similar fast-paced operational environment. They possess excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong background in ramp operations and supervisory functions.
  • Sound knowledge of airline handling manuals, dangerous goods, and compliance requirements.
  • Skilled in managing emergency response procedures and maintaining security standards.
  • Collaborative leadership style that inspires, motivates, and develops teams to achieve excellence.
