Specialist Family Violence Advisor- Mental Health Role Summary

The Specialist Family Violence Advisor - Mental Health is a key position within the Mental Health Program, focused on responding to family violence. This role provides specialist input to address family violence issues across all teams.

This clinical leadership opportunity will collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver coordinated care and promote safety. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating collaboration between the mental health sector, alcohol and other drugs sector, and the family violence sector
  • Providing secondary consultation services
  • Supporting the implementation of family violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) alignment and embedding
  • Engaging with statewide Specialist Family Violence Advisor initiatives

As part of this exciting opportunity, you will be part of an initiative to lead practice change, skill development, and collaboration in addressing family violence as part of the Victoria-wide reforms.
