Virtualization Specialist Needed for High-Performance Environment

We are seeking a seasoned Citrix Solution Architect to design, implement and support high-performing virtual desktop and application environments using Citrix technologies.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Citrix Solutions: Architect and implement Citrix solutions including XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler, StoreFront, and Provisioning Services.
  • Lead Design and Deployment: Lead the design and deployment of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments.
  • Provide Level 3 Support: Provide Level 3 support for Citrix-related incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, installation guides, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with Service Teams: Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure operational excellence and SLA compliance.
  • Conduct Performance Tuning: Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and lifecycle management of Citrix environments.
  • Engage in Pre-Sales Activities: Engage in pre-sales activities, including solutioning, estimating, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
  • Ensure Security Compliance: Ensure security compliance and integration with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SCCM, SCOM).
  • Lead Proof-of-Concept Initiatives: Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and product evaluations.
  • Support Cloud-Based VDI Deployments: Support cloud-based VDI deployments (e.g., AWS WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7–10 years of experience in Citrix virtualization technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, NetScaler, Citrix Cloud, and Workspace Environment Management.
  • Experience with VMware ESX, SQL Server, and Microsoft Threat Management Gateway.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (AirWatch, Workspace ONE) and antivirus solutions.
  • Certifications such as Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V), ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) are preferred.
