Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation, commissioning and maintenance of food processing equipment including fabrication.
  2. Supervising installation teams.
  3. Reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings for installations.
  4. Accurately marking out floorplans for installations.
  5. Maintaining constant communication on job statuses with various stakeholders.
  6. Identifying faults or improvement ideas for high-quality solutions.
  7. Maintaining deadlines for project installations and handovers.
  8. Providing preventative and reactive maintenance support.
  9. Providing customer training and support.
  10. Diagnosing and repairing automated packaging equipment.
  11. Diagnosing and repairing food processing and inspection equipment.
  12. Compiling installation and service reports.
  13. Training users on correct equipment use.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in installing and supporting food processing / industrial equipment.
  • Restricted Electrical Licence or knowledge of electrical circuits.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency using MS Word and Excel.
  • High Risk Tickets (EWP, Confined Space, Forklift) with White Card an advantage.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good timekeeping.
  • Can-do attitude.
