Lead Business Strategist for Adelaide Buildings

We are seeking a visionary leader to head our Adelaide Buildings team, a dynamic group of engineers and consultants who thrive on solving complex challenges across various sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing business strategy and revenue growth plans for the Adelaide business
  • Leading project delivery and team performance
  • Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of excellence
  • Responsible for winning work, growing the Adelaide Buildings team, and achieving net revenue and backlog targets
  • Fostering collaboration across teams
  • Championing a high-performance culture focused on talent, productivity, and financial performance
  • Driving quality and timely delivery of projects that exceed client expectations
  • Assisting with business development initiatives and representing the organization in industry forums

Requirements:

  • Tertiary engineering qualification
  • 12+ years of senior-level experience in building services in the Adelaide market
  • Proven leadership skills and a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and significant project delivery experience
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in a design consultancy environment with a strong track record of client engagement, relationship building, and project leadership
