Job Title: Lifestyle Coordinator

Are you passionate about providing high-quality care to the elderly? Do you have a kind heart and a desire to make a difference in people's lives?

  • As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing lifestyle activities and programs that promote social, psychological, recreational, cultural, and spiritual wellbeing for our residents.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities
  • Conduct resident assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each resident's preferences and needs
  • Plan and implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and where possible involve the wider community, volunteers, and residents' families and friends
  • Act as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the lifestyle team
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents
  • Great IT skills
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain
