Principal Asset Integrity Specialist

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our operations.
About the Position
- This is a Client-side Senior Structural Engineer position that requires site travel across Australia, PNG, Ghana, and the Americas.
- You will work closely with our teams to assess and mitigate structural risks, and develop recommendations for maintenance and repair.
- Expertise in brownfields work within mining processing plants, materials handling, or similar, is highly valued in this role.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, and proven experience in structural integrity assessment on mining or heavy industrial assets, are required.
- You should have a solid understanding of Australian Standards and site inspection practices, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- The ideal candidate will have competence in asset integrity inspections and report/documentation preparation, and a willingness to travel internationally and domestically, typically 1-2 weeks per month on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections to identify and assess structural risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and improve overall asset integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support decision-making and regulatory compliance.
- Travel frequently to site locations to conduct inspections and provide technical expertise.
