Network Officer

As a Network Officer, you will be an integral part of providing exceptional customer service in various capacities.

This role involves revenue protection, transportation information, and fostering passenger and driver safety.

You will engage with diverse audiences, including school children, and navigate scenarios requiring quick thinking and assertiveness.

Strong communication skills are essential in this role, where maintaining empathy while considering the broader perspective is crucial when dealing with difficult interactions.

You will be actively engaged, constantly on your feet and in motion, as you travel on the bus network and provide a presence at bus stops and transport interchanges.

Working within a team environment, you will wear a uniform that includes a body camera.

This role operates on a rotating roster, including day and afternoon shifts, with some weekend work.

Extensive training and support will be provided before deployment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality customer service and assistance to passengers
  • Educating customers about ticketing products and the transportation network
  • Participating in community engagement programs or activities
  • Ensuring customers have paid for services
  • Issuing Penalty Infringement and Warning Notices
  • Maintaining passenger and driver safety by being visible onboard bus services
  • Completing daily reports on activities and incidents
