Job Opportunity:

Nurse Unit Managers play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of theatres within Macquarie University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate efficient use of operating sessions with theatre staff, anaesthetists and surgeons
  • Maintain optimal levels of efficiency in clinical practice while promoting patient advocacy
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Act as a role model by providing professional leadership and upholding the values of MQ Health and the Nursing profession
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Nurse Unit Manager within Urology and Robotics
  • Demonstrated management skills with ability to take initiative in resolving issues and problems
  • Effective stakeholder management skills and flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances
  • Strong commitment to quality improvement and ISO certification
