As a Senior Administrative Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the success of Faculty Services and the University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Division.

You will be responsible for managing information with accuracy and ensuring effective communication across the Division. This includes efficiently managing the diary of the Executive Director, using initiative to anticipate requirements.

  • Generate and update content for Faculty Services SharePoint sites and newsletters, ensuring essential resources (e.g. organisational charts, contact lists) are regularly refreshed.
  • Prioritise work and critical activities, monitor progress, and recognise barriers to achieving outcomes.
  • Build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, communicating with confidence and using examples to increase understanding and support.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing complex and sensitive information.
  • Proven capability in SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience providing administration and related support within a large organisation with complex structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience operating in high-pressure environments, managing face-to-face, telephone, and written communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality services and support within a large organisation.
