Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental project delivery documentation, including Construction Environment Management Plans (CEMP), Environmental Work Method Statements (EWMS) and Environmental Control Maps (ECM)
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with CEMP/EWMS/ECM
  • Assist in coaching and mentoring personnel on environmental management by developing and delivering training programs
  • Gather data and report environmental performance
  • Ensure clear and efficient communication between personnel and Sydney Water on all environmental issues
  • Identify environmental risks and develop solutions
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualified in Environmental Science or other related discipline
  • Considerable skill and experience in Commonwealth and State environmental legislation
  • Knowledge of environmental constraints, issues and management principles applicable to infrastructure corridors
  • Knowledge of infrastructure design, construction and maintenance practices
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
