About this role

The Deputy Commissioner represents the Minister, Commissions and DVA in Tasmania. This involves managing DVA's daily relationships with various stakeholders including ex-service organisations, the broader ex-service community and individual veterans.

As a senior departmental officer in Tasmania, you will provide pastoral care to all DVA staff and identify local issues for management.

This is a high-functioning team environment where you will work closely with the Deputy Commissioner and other departmental staff to generate, coordinate and prioritise competing tasks.
