We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team in Toowoomba. As a Rental Sales Agent, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving individual and team sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in renting vehicles based on their preferences and needs, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience.
  • Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently, maintaining attention to detail and adhering to company policies.
  • Promote and upsell additional products and services, leveraging your knowledge of current promotions and offerings.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills.
  • Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets, driving revenue growth and contributing to business success.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting any damages and reporting them to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to assist with sales efforts, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals, fostering a loyal client base.
  • Detailing and cleaning vehicles to business quality standards, ensuring they are presented in excellent condition for rental.
  • Refuel and transport vehicles, performing tasks safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail, with a proven track record of success.
  • Car rental experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Confident using computer systems and technology, with a willingness to learn new software and tools.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays.
  • Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record, and full working rights in Australia (current and ongoing).
  • A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
