Job Description

We are seeking a skilled signal processing engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and building signal processing algorithms that enable millions of users worldwide to experience our technologies.

The products you create will be used by major partners such as LG, Amazon, and Lenovo to deliver the Dolby experience in their product lines. You will work alongside industry experts who can guide and develop your skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop real-time solutions to signal processing challenges using Python, MATLAB, and C/C++
  • Build prototypes and conduct experiments to design innovative solutions for signal processing problems
  • Write and test real-time signal processing software in C/C++
  • Create tools for demonstration, testing, and validation of algorithms
  • Perform critical listening tests to evaluate solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Programming experience in C/C++
  • Experience using Python or MATLAB for scripting and scientific computing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for building new things and exploring how they work
  • Creative approach to complex problem-solving and a commitment to seeing solutions through to completion
  • Interest in audio and multimedia technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with acoustics, digital signal processing, or machine learning
  • Embedded software development experience
