Job Title: CHPP Specialist

The CHPP Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our coal handling plant. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated professional to excel in their field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in frontline delivery of the Mechanical Engineering Control Plan
  • Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, and repair of electrical apparatus in accordance with Australian and mine standards
  • Collaborate proactively with the CHPP team to guarantee that asset management and production targets are achieved
  • Participate actively in our proactive safety culture

Requirements:

  • A qualification in Mechanical Trades (Fitter/Boilermaker)
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical technician in a CHPP or fixed plant industrial setting
  • Knowledge of crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, centrifuges, industrial pumps, and similar equipment
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to adhere to established procedures
