About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our team at Zone IT Solutions. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines and solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion, data transformation, and data modeling capabilities on GCP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, data quality, and data security.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to streamline data processing.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure data-driven decision making.
Requirements
  • Strong experience as a GCP Data Engineer with a proven track record of designing and implementing data pipelines and solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Data Fusion.
  • Experience in data integration, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Java, and experience with SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a cross-functional team.
