About the Role

This is a full-time, ongoing position within the Department of Transport and Planning. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop and implement plans, frameworks, and solutions that enhance the department's emergency management capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to the development of emergency management capability and capacity programs.
  • Lead capability and capacity needs analysis and engagement processes.
  • Design and develop initiatives, including learning and development solutions, aligned to insights and emerging risks.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to evaluate capability initiatives and provide insights into program performance.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to integrate capability building for emergency management with workforce capability business processes and systems.
Requirements
  • A qualification in education, vocational education, and training (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or Diploma Training Design) is highly desirable.
  • A qualification or experience in emergency management would be favorably considered.
  • Experience in building emergency management workforce capability across organizations.
