About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Nambour QLD. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of relief and comfort.
  • Provide social support and transport to appointments, ensuring our customers receive the care and attention they need.
  • Work with customers who have complex care needs, such as dementia, to provide tailored support and care.

Requirements
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is part of the role.
  • The ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
What to Expect

Before joining our team, we will perform a National Police Check/Right to Work, functional fitness assessment on your behalf, as well as confirming evidence of COVID vaccination.
