Perigon Group is a leading global financial services company seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their team on an ongoing contract basis. This role will be working as part of an established payroll team using iChris.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly payroll cycle.
  • Entering new starters through to payment and terminations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Calculating superannuation, leave entitlements, and award interpretation to ensure compliance.
  • Review of the Time & Attendance Data feed to identify any discrepancies.
  • Leave calculations including parental, long service, annual, sick, and workers' compensation, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Reconciliation of superannuation and payroll tax to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assisting with payroll queries and inquiries as required, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, with a strong understanding of payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Chris 21 or iChris or Workday, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
