About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Medicine Specialist to join our team as a Head of Department. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading and mentoring medical staff, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the provision of high-quality inpatient and outpatient care to public and private patients in General Medicine.
  • Provide professional leadership to medical, nursing, and allied health staff and foster interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Be actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as trainee and IMG supervision and mentoring.
  • Be involved in research and undertake quality improvement activities.
  • Actively support and participate in service development to improve current services and develop new services in the Department of General Medicine.
