Job Title: Financial Risk Analyst

Our team is looking for a skilled Financial Risk Analyst to join our ranks. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a strong and efficient financial system for the benefit of all Australians.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveillance, intelligence gathering, and project work to identify risks and assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse market activity and provide evaluation and guidance on technical and policy issues.
  • Undertake research and contribute internal advice, reports, and briefings for regulatory matters.
  • Contribute to wider projects and activities which may lead to the drafting of regulatory updates, guidance and media releases.

Requirements:
  • Experience in compliance, risk, or analysis of regulatory issues in a financial services environment such as trading, corporate finance, investment banking, or within a regulator.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
