Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled mental health nurse to provide operational direction and ensure efficient management of our unit. This role requires coordination of nursing care, guidance to team members, and accountability for managing resources.

About the Position:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Lead and motivate a team of mental health professionals to achieve excellent patient-centered care
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective management of human, financial, and material resources
  • Undertake direct patient care as required and ensure compliance with relevant standards

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in inpatient mental health settings
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NSQHS/ACHS Standards and HoNOS
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-standard clinical and customer-focused care
  • High degree of computer literacy
