About the Opportunity

Big Screen Video is seeking a skilled Electronics Installation Specialist to join their team.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced electronics technician to attend to service calls, fault find and repair LED modules in-house and in the field, catalogue repairs through a ticketing system, liaise with clients and suppliers, organise freight, manage stock levels of spare components, and mentor an electronics apprentice.

This role requires minimal evening and weekend work. Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding and repairing electronic equipment
  • Cataloguing repairs and managing inventory
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
  • Managing and mentoring an electronics apprentice

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications or similar qualification. You must also have or be willing to obtain a restricted electrical license, working at heights certification, white card, EWP at a minimum of 11m (over 11m preferable), and strong computing skills.

  • LED video installation experience
  • Rescue from heights training
  • Working with children check/s

  • Forklift license
  • First aid training
