Job Description:

As an Employment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver tailored employment solutions.

  • Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers
  • Support participants to identify skills to become job ready
  • Deliver quality service while adhering to contractual and compliance requirements
  • Enhance employability through training and support service referrals
  • Develop personalized job plans for clear employment pathways

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining positive relationships with local employers and community groups, as well as developing strong communication skills to achieve great outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We hire people who are driven, solution-focused, and have a can-do approach. Individuals demonstrating empathy and compassion towards those with disability, injury, or barriers to employment are highly valued.

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, composure, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
