We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team in Mount Isa.

Job Overview:

North and West Remote Health is looking for adaptable professionals to deliver high-quality mental health services in a culturally diverse community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive assessment, treatment, and intervention services to meet the mental health needs of the community.
  • Engage with local communities on mental health matters through education and outreach programs.
  • Travel to remote locations to provide mental health services to those who need it most.
  • Establish positive relationships with individuals, teams, and the wider community.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA, ACA, PACFA, or AASW.
  • Eligible professions include Registered Psychologist, Credentialed Mental Health Social Worker, Credentialed Mental Health Nurse, and Mental Health Credentialled Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A current 'C' class Australian Driver's Licence is required.
  • Ability to live and work in Australia.
