Housekeeping Supervisor

RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is a world-renowned destination situated within the Shark Bay World Heritage Area in Western Australia.
The resort offers a range of accommodation options, including self-contained villas, hotel-style rooms, and campsites, catering to up to 1,200 guests.
We are seeking a casual Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role. This position would be ideal for a local or someone looking to relocate from Perth, with accommodation and meals available at a reduced cost.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the resort. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the housekeeping team to ensure the cleaning of self-contained chalets, hotel-style rooms, caravan park, public areas of the resort, and amenities.
- Planning daily room requirements and conducting pre-arrival checks to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Ensuring adequate supplies of housekeeping inventory and chemicals to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Proactively managing guest feedback to continuously improve customer service and satisfaction.
- Training team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensuring Health and Safety compliance throughout the resort.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 6 months' experience working in a Housekeeping Supervisor role.
- Previous leadership experience to effectively manage and motivate the housekeeping team.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Computer skills to efficiently manage housekeeping operations.
- A valid driver's license to facilitate transportation around the resort.
- A keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively to achieve common goals.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
