About the Opportunity

Programmed Facility Management is seeking an experienced Housekeeper / Cleaner to join our Village Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an essential team that provides soft services such as Village Management, Catering, Transport, Cleaning and Utility services to a well-known Mining Company situated in the Mid-West, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the designated work, service and living areas are held to a high standard of cleanliness
  • Follow Cleaning Policies and Procedures
  • Achieve completion targets within allocated timeframes, respond to timely ad-hoc cleaning requests
  • Housekeeping of Residents rooms within the Village environment as per schedule; stripping and making beds, removing, and replacing linen/towels, cleaning ensuites and all ablutions
  • Minesite Cleaning of Site offices and facilities, crib rooms and all ablutions
  • Appropriate storage and use of Chemicals
  • Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials/consumables levels, assist with EOM stock take audits
  • Laundry duties such as removal and replacement of linen/towels, sorting, folding and storage
  • Notifying the Supervisor of any maintenance requests/issues required within the Village/Site
  • Assist other departments from time to time, if required
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have previous cleaning experience and be highly organized, possessing strong time and priority management skills. You will have a strong commitment to the hygiene and safety of yourself and others, and a passion to provide quality work and service with a smile, at all times:

  • VALID C Class License (mandatory)
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Fit Testing, Functional Testing and Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Demonstrated experience at a Minesite Village with Cleaning and First Aid (desirable)
