Cloud Platform Engineer Position Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a deep understanding of backend and cloud architecture, with expertise in optimizing system performance, security, and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Perform incident response and root cause analysis related to platform reliability and security incidents.
  • Develop observability solutions to monitor and alert on system health and security issues.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to deploy and configure environments.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and developer experience.
  • Review and resolve vulnerabilities in infrastructure and application code.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, CloudFront, S3, MongoDB, Neo4J, ElasticSearch, and Redis.
  • Experience with security best practices, including Web Application Firewall and IAM.
  • Proficiency in observability tools, such as New Relic and CloudWatch.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions, AWS CDK, and AWS CodeDeploy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
