Job Overview

The commercial arm of a rapidly growing national business unit is seeking a motivated and capable professional to oversee financial aspects of projects.

Delivering end-to-end services across various markets, including renewables and resources, the ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in project finance and contract management to maximize profitability.

About the Role

This role involves overseeing all financial aspects of projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with client contracts and maximizing project profits.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regular briefings, analyses, and summaries of complex legal, technical, and commercial issues for non-specialist audiences and executives.
  • Ensure governance oversight of client contracts to maximize project profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project finances effectively.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support project goals.
  • Monitor and analyze project financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or Law.
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in the Renewable (Solar/BESS/Wind), Utilities, or EPC industry.
  • Significant strategic commercial experience in a hard dollar or lump sum environment, preferably within large construction and engineering companies.
  • Strong understanding of project finance and contract management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
