Concrete Production Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Concrete Production Specialist to join our operations team in Melbourne.

Job Description:

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our concrete production processes. This includes operating and maintaining plant machinery, monitoring production metrics, troubleshooting any issues that arise, accurately batching concrete orders using advanced systems, managing daily administration including stock control and reporting, inspecting and maintaining plant equipment and trucks, and maintaining a safe work environment through general housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain plant machinery.
  • Monitor production metrics and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Accurately batch concrete orders using advanced systems.
  • Manage daily administration.
  • Inspect and maintain plant equipment and trucks.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong safety focus and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound computer skills for batching, reporting, and stock management.
  • Proven experience operating a Front-End Loader and a forklift ticket.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Pro-active attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work shift work with flexibility to work overtime if required.
