We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team at Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Prestons. As a key member of our workshop staff, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with heavy vehicles.

  • Steering and suspension repairs
  • Electrical faults diagnosis and repairs
  • Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
  • Preventative maintenance services and repairs
  • Offsite and breakdown repairs

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a talented team of professionals. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to delivering exceptional results.

As a successful candidate, you will possess:

  • A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification
  • Experience working with Volvo, Mack, UD or other European truck or bus brands is highly regarded
  • Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
  • A proactive attitude with a drive to work efficiently
  • A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindset
