About the Role:The John Holland Infrastructure division is constructing some of Australia's most complex projects, including the Black Hill to Tomago M1, Gold Coast Light Rail, and Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre.
Due to industry expansion, we are currently seeking a Financial Manager for an upcoming $450m Water Infrastructure project in regional NSW.
This role involves preparing monthly Payment Claims to clients based on actual costs reported against target actual costs to date, including relevant supporting analysis and reports.
The successful candidate will also process agreed adjustments to project revenue and target actual costs / budget in the Project Cost Reporting system.
Responsibilities include coordinating month-end financial processes, preparing and posting accruals, posting clearing journals, raising and receiving purchase orders for intercompany invoices, and processing intercompany/corporate recharge journals.
The Financial Manager will provide support for audits and investigations to ensure the integrity of business processes and comply with internal controls.
They will prepare/collate documents and facilitate audit/review of project actual costs by clients as required.
A strong attention to detail, excellent numeracy and literacy skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems are essential for this role.
