We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Improvement Specialist to join our team at Truganina VIC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements across our contract logistics warehouse business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes
  • Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities and through training, coaching and data analysis
  • Develop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5 S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports
  • Guide and drive our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualified in industrial engineering (or related) and has solid experience gained in a related role in any industry (preference for logistics / supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related)
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.
  • Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
  • Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)
  • Bonus: 2 D drawing/design experience in Auto CAD or similar
