Your Mission

We are seeking a driven and focused Warehouse / Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team at Truganina VIC. Your mission will be to identify process improvements across our contract logistics warehouse business operations and drive both profit improvements and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes
  • Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities and through training, coaching and data analysis
  • Develop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports
  • Guide and drive our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program.

Requirements

We are looking for a tertiary qualified industrial engineer with solid experience gained in a related role in any industry, preferably in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related. Key attributes include:

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.
  • Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
  • Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)
  • Bonus: 2D drawing/design experience in AutoCAD or similar.
