This retailer is Australia's largest and fastest growing homewares and kitchenware destination, with over 160 stores offering a vast range of cooking, baking, entertaining and gift-giving essentials.

The Store Manager will be involved in every aspect of a fast-paced retail environment as they share responsibility and accountability for their store. They will be the first point of contact for the store and will be expected to lead, drive, develop and inspire their team to achieve overall success.

About this role:

  • High levels of team engagement are required
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about home cooking and the kitchen in general
  • Strong inventory experience and managing large volumes of stock
  • Proven commercial acumen and the ability to read and interpret financial reports
  • Organised with excellent time management skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver a fantastic customer experience
  • Drive sales to achieve targets
  • Understand rosters, wages and productivity
  • Manage stock levels and inventory movement & loss prevention
  • Manage team performance, development and engagement with optimism
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards to company guidelines
  • Manage all areas of store administration
