Drive Operational Excellence

The primary objective of this role is to drive operational excellence by analyzing and optimizing business processes, implementing Lean principles, onboarding system upgrades, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing company processes and procedures to develop strategies for building a continuous improvement environment.
  • Leading the delivery of better value, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiencies through identifying and eliminating unnecessary complexity within business processes.
  • Taking ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification and opportunities through to project delivery via governance and controls.
  • Identifying and delivering service improvement activities across the organization through employing process improvement methodologies and applying innovative thinking.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and projects to drive ideas and solutions.
  • Identifying trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement and compliance auditing and monitoring system.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in continuous improvement analysis from a similar role, preferably in a logistics environment.
  • Project management background.
  • A sharp eye for identifying weaknesses in processes and organizational structures.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.
  • Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • An industrial or manufacturing background would be beneficial.
