About the Role:
">- We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, QLD.
Job Overview:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and modification of mechanical components and processes for mining and minerals processing plants. Your expertise in systems, calculations, equipment, and methods will help us deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage your knowledge of precedents in the mechanical discipline to drive project success.
- Lead teams providing technical aspects and support of supply chain lifecycle for a large number of equipment packages and/or contracts on a single project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop conceptual designs for mechanical engineering projects or projects having specialized or unique requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations.
- Ensure compliance with industry / regulatory codes and standards (Australia) and design and/or layout criteria.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
About You:
- You have a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
- You possess a strong understanding of industry / regulatory codes and standards (Australia) and design and/or layout criteria.
- You are an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- You are passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field.
