About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team. This is a key leadership position that requires strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of the team to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Support daily operational problems and react appropriately to urgent issues, escalating to direct manager where necessary.
  • Share specialist knowledge of the IKEA product range, services, and tools to secure high level of competence within the team.
  • Encourage the team to actively sell departments top-selling products, prioritised products, and IKEA service products to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked area of responsibility, ensuring IKEA basic merchandising standards are always in place.
  • Analyse and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability.

Requirements

  • Possess thorough knowledge of the IKEA product range, local market, and customers.
  • Able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong verbal and written communication skills for successful stakeholder management.
  • Friendly and comfortable with connecting and interacting with people, enjoying working in a dynamic team environment.
  • Comfortable with coordinating team members, setting priorities, and delegating responsibility.
  • Able to deliver exceptional customer service and foster an inclusive and positive co-worker experience.
