Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax and Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, businesses, and trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Collaborate on monthly reports, forecasts, and analysis for clients, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Client Engagement: Develop relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and support, building trust and loyalty.
  • Learning & Development: Stay up to date with accounting standards and tax regulations through hands-on work and mentorship from senior team members, enhancing your technical skills and knowledge.
  • Software Use: Gain experience in popular accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB, expanding your skillset and versatility.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and the desire to learn new tools, coupled with enthusiasm for ongoing learning and development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment, fostering effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
