We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team at Inverell District Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in CT scanning and be able to work independently as part of a two-radiographer team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a radiographer to take their career to the next level in a supportive rural setting. With excellent imaging equipment and a friendly workplace, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of patients.
About the role:
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to outpatients and patients from the adjacent ED. Weekend work (1 in 2) is required as well as after-hours on-call. The majority of imaging undertaken is CT scanning, and full orientation to the department, site, and town will be provided.
If you hold experience as a qualified radiographer with good skills in CT scanning, we would love to see you apply. This position is not suitable for new graduates and involves significant on-call work out of normal working hours.
What We Can Offer- A range of benefits including up to $20,000 in the first 12 months plus up to $10,000 each year thereafter in fortnightly payments under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.

Requirements:
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
- Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold current NSW EPA Radiation licence.
- An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part-time vacancies.
- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
